We're in the same party but not on the same server
Get onto the same server
- Form the party BEFORE joining the universe, from the main menu.
- The party leader launches first, the others join after.
- If you're already in different universes, log out and start again in that order.
Copilot's noteThe universe is split into several copies (shards): without a party, you can end up in different ones.
I can't invite them
Invite the right way
- Add each other as contacts first (exact handle, not the display name).
- Send the party invite from the contact list, then ask them to accept it.
- If the invite doesn't show up, both leave the party and try again.
We can see each other but not their markers
Bring the markers back
- Check that you're really in the same party (not just contacts).
- Leave and rejoin the party: that often turns the markers back on.
